    • "Dash" -- Male, black and white, parti-eyed, 6 to 8 years old, neutered.  Heathly.  Dash is a very mellow sweet dog, he is good with people and children.  He is okay with cats although they usually do not like him.  He can be a little toy protector but is never violent.  Very sweet, very well trained, knows all commands walks well on a leash.  Good with other dogs.  Owner has had Dash since he was a puppy, but she just got divorced and now has a job as a flight attendant and will not be home for 18 days out of the month.  The owner wants someone who understands that he has to be brushed weekly, walked daily, loved hourly.  Siberian huskies are not a normal breed.  It takes a special person to take care of one.  For more information, contact: Jesse Kruse, krusej4@gmail.com

    • "Kodiak" -- Female, black and white, blue eyes, 6 to 8 years old.  The dog is very thin and has a gash on her nose.  Now current on shots, but has an unknown medical history.  MAY be prone to seizures as she had one as she was being taken from the owners into rescue.  During the seizure, she started shaking, became dizzy, laid on her side, was unable to move, and was foaming at the mouth.  (Probably controllable with meds unless an underlying cause is found.)  Skittish and timid around both humans and other animals.  Being fostered until a new home is found.  Previous owners were taking her to a shelter to be euthanized due to no time for her.  They had been crating her for long hours.  Needs an experienced home that can work with her.  For more information, contact:  Deb P, d.pattan@yahoo.com
