  • Currently available from other sources:
    • "The Amber Amelia" -- Female, black and white, bi-eyed, piebald with amber, 7 to 12 months old, spayed.  Very good health, has all boosters, microchipped.  She is very gentle and playful.  She gets along with the owner's other dogs, but as a Siberian puppy, she cannot be left alone in a home free to have "fun".  She tears up everything.  Must either have a secure kennel environment available or have a family member who lives at home and no job.  She is very sociable with other dogs and people, but it is unknown how she is with children.  For now, she is mild-tempered, but as she grows, her size may become an issue.  The owner no sooner saved her from being euthanized at the dog pound than she lost her job.  She may lose her home.  Amelia is new to the family, so she will adjust easily to a new home.  Destructive behavior is quite typical of Siberians under three when they are left alone and have energy to burn.  Someone who jogs with her in the morning might have a chance of tiring her before leaving her for the day in a crate.  She is being trained to a crate but it would be cruel to leave her in one for 9 hours without a break.  She digs in the yard and does what all huskies do.  Beautiful and loves having her own chair to lay in.  She is house trained and loves being inside with her owner and the other dogs.  For more information, contact:  918 835-4577, tamarajane@sbcglobal.net
