    • "Katie" -- Female, grey and white, blue eyes, 2 to 3 years old, spayed.  Needs daily meds.  Good with kids, not cats and at times not other dogs.  KATIE IS MISSING!!! from the Weber Rd. & Renwick Rd. area in Lockport,the evening of Monday April 26, 2010.  She was found and the initial contact demanded money on April 28, 2010.  The woman caller hung up before leaving any contact information.  Katie is microchipped and anyone finding her should have her scanned.  She may have been in the Crest Hill, Joliet, Romeoville or Plainfield area, at least at first, she may have been moved by now.  If you have any information, contact: Linda or Randy Gondek, 815-439-2313, lh4h@hotmail.com

    • "Cheyenne" -- Female, black and white, blue eyes, 6 to 8 years old, spayed.  Shots current.  Very sweet and has been very gentle to work with, wary of other dogs but tolerates them.  The people who have her just rescued her from a neighbor who had her tied to a tree and was starving her.  They already have a lot of dogs and think she would do better with less dogs.  They will keep her until the right home is found.  For more information, contact:  Patsy Barber, elfmagic@earthlink.net
    • "Tara Jane" -- Female, wolf grey, brown eyes, senior, spayed.  Healthy/ up to date on shots.  Sweet dog, seems to get along fine with other dogs, very gentle demeanor, unknown how she gets along with children.  Tara's previous owner was mentally challenged, he was no longer able to take care of her.  The poster works at Creve Coeur Animal Hospital where she was boarding and decided try to place her rather than relying on the local shelter to do it.  For more information, contact:  Theresa Knoblock, 314. 550.7882, tmknoblock@gmail.com

    • "Niko" -- Male, black and white, brown eyes, 6 to 8 years old, neutered.  Shots up to date.  No health known health issues.  Niko is very loving and needs a lot of attention and he will give it back.  He's great with children of all ages.  Gets along with some dogs, mostly female, but not with cats.  Niko needs a new home because he killed the fiance's cat (typical).  He is not welcome in the house anymore because of this.  For more information, contact:  Angela Joski, (262)949-8313, arjoski@yahoo.com
    • "Keta" -- Female, wolf grey, blue eyes, 13 to 18 months old, un-spayed.  No known health issues.  She is very friendly and plays well with the owner's other dogs and is good with their house cat.  She does not like sharing her food, treats or bones.  She was adopted as a pup to a home with foster children.  The children were a little abusive for a pup and was on a trial basis.  She needed to be brought back as part of the owner's already 5 dog pack.  They can't find enough time to give her the attention she truly needs.  She loves going for walks, running and playing.  She is good in the yard as long as someone is with her, otherwise she may go for a walk on her own, so she does need to be watched.  She also likes to dig.  For more information, contact:  Mike, 920-604-3488, mkonkel949@centurytel.net
